#I am imagining layer Yin and Jin in outfits that are VERY obvious Phoenix and Edgeworth references

So since this is a canon in universe show

Would it be fun (and fitting to the shows humour) if the whole "Macaque's murder" conflict ends up being resolved through some god/demon forcing it to be handled in a court?
Neither Wukong nor Macaque are happy about that. Both of them would love to just forget/ignore the whole incident and move on with their lives. But there they are, forced to sit down and go through why and how the whole fight happened the first place and which one of them was more to blame.
Add in some stakes by making it so that Wukong being declared as murderer would place him under new 500 years under the mountain time out (or something similar). And though Wukong and Mac try to be in the same team at the beginning, the Judge's influence and their usual arguing leads to full blown court war.
(Mac probably agrees to take blame from the fight but only if Wukong apologizes. Wukong, remembering things differently, either apologizes a wrong thing or gets offended by the demand)
So as the result, MK and the rest of the gang get to spent the rest of the episode playing Monkey Cop/detectives to figure out what actually happened on that day. This includes interrogating both Mac and Wukong, digging through old records and traveling to the location the fight took place.
(My personal theory based on the hints the show has been giving?
Mac didn't die in the fight but was merely badly injured and imprisoned by Tripitaka. Saddly, the combined effects of these two caused Mac to lose control of his powers and he was... torn appart by his own shadows/magic.)
Insert in a cool final scene where MK re-tells the true tale of the Hero and the Warrior (with reserved lights and shadows). Wukong and Mac finally properly apologize, everyone cries and the (very dissapointed) Judge sentences both monkeys to 500.... hours of community service.
Oh and to make the things even more chaotic:
The Judge appoints Jin and Yin as the monkey bros' attorneys.
